Anti-Semitic candidate sacked in Canada for citing ZIM 9-11 hoax, Anti-Zionist cries foul

Canadian politician Lesley Hughes was justly removed as a Liberal Party candidate after it was discovered that she had written an anti-Semitic article (see Canada's Liberals sack candidate over anti-Semitic remarks) . What Leslie Hughes alleged in her article was an Anti-Semitic libel. She repeated the false claim that the ZIM corporation broke its lease a few days before the 9-11 attacks and quickly moved out of the World Trade Center. ZIM did not break its lease. The ZIM decision to move to Virginia had been made months before, and there were still ZIM personnel working in the World Trade Center in September 11, 2001.

 

The dismissal of Hughes brought howls about the "Israel Lobby" from "anti-Zionist" Henry Makow who howled at henrymakow.com/jewish_lobby_vetoes_canadian_c.html, "Jewish Lobby Vetoes Candidate for 9-11 Views."

 

Well yes, and if a politician had claimed that Africans are all thieves, they would be dismissed as well.

 

The ZIM hoax about 9-11 is featured on thousands of "anti-Zionist" Web sites.
